The overarching theme is an experimental approach to understanding, predicting and controlling fluid flows over various regimes. The goal is to develop a multi-disciplinary initiative to address fundamental and applied aspects of multi-scale, multi-physics complex flow systems. 


We focus on compressible and incompressible turbulent shear flows that are relevant to aerodynamic and hydrodynamic applications. Current research can be broadly classified into four interrelated categories and there are several projects within each of these categories and some projects span across these different categories. ​
